I am a 56 year old man and I have been suffering from severe low back pain due to severe degenerative disc disease for 23 years. For the last 23 years I have constantly felt pain, which at times I couldn’t even work through the pain. I’m an engineer, and the pain has been so bad that it was hard to concentrate on my work because of the pain. It was so bad that I had at times I had to crawl back to my home from snow shoveling. Also, every time I worked around the house on weekends at times I wouldn’t even be able to move. My wife complained that I looked like an old man by the way that I was walking. I was in so much pain doing most of the things I enjoyed. I felt like I was helpless, that I couldn’t do the things that I use to do when I was in my 30’s. My quality of life was so restrictive because of the serious pain I had to live with, filled with drugs just to try to get by. I’ve seen doctors, back specialists, sports doctors and two other chiropractors. There was no long lasting relief.

I heard about Back Clinics of Canada on the radio. I had researched decompression and I read some of the negative reviews but I’m not one to just read and believe. I spoke to a bunch of other patients who were in different stages of treatment. Most of the patients that I spoke to told me that they felt better by about two weeks or so into the program. There was no pressure from the staff or the doctor to begin the care. Everyone on the team treated me professionally and they knew exactly what they were doing. The doctor did not guarantee success but there was a commitment to get my best outcome. So I decided to follow through with the program. I started the care and after by my second week of care I felt significantly less pain and more mobility. It worked for me, if you’re thinking about care – go for it. Now, I am very happy with the way I feel, my pain is 95% gone, I walk better and my wife is very happy with the way things turned out.

I stumbled upon back clinics of Canada out of desperation. After a triplet pregnancy in 2020, I was left with a diagnosis of DDD and disc bulge-I had tried everything and was still left in debilitating, chronic pain. I was not able to play with my children or do anything. Ultimately, my back had hijacked my life. My grandkids have replaced my Harley but it’s a joy to play ball hockey, basketball, and tennis with them. I went to Back Clinics of Canada, Dr. Ron Nusbaum after suffering for many years of back pain due to severe disc degeneration and trying a lot of other options. I heard the ad on the radio and decided to give it a try. It is now 3 months since I finished treatment and I am virtually pain free. Back at the gym, riding the Harley, and the bicycle.
